Light an Unlit bug lantern with a Tinderbox. Bug lanterns can be bought from Slayer masters.

Other information

This lantern cannot be used as a light source. Since it is wielded in the shield slot, you can not use another shield or a two-handed weapon when using the lantern.

The lit lantern is untradable. If you wish to trade it, right-click and select extinguish (unlit bug lanterns are tradable).
