- 45 logs. 20+20+5 of the same kind (you can have any kind of log, but each batch must be the same kind)
Varrock teleports or a hatchet to get logs near beacons is a good idea.
Walkthrough
1. Speak to King Roald in the Varrock Palace to start the quest. He tells you to talk to Blaze Sharpeye.
Lighting the first beacon
Needed items: Tinderbox, 20 logs of the same kind (or a hatchet to get them on your way).
2. Go to Blaze Sharpeye, who is located near the beacon just south of the temple at the entrance of Morytania. Beacons are indicated by a Fired Up Beacon icon (
). Talk to Blaze.
3. Click the beacon to add 20 logs to it, and then click it again to light it.
4. Talk to Blaze again. He asks you to light the beacon tended by Squire Fyre, which is located just west of the Rag and Bone Man's hovel.
Lighting the second beacon
Needed items: Tinderbox, 20 logs of the same kind (or a hatchet to get them on your way). You will also need another five logs after this step.
5. Go to Squire Fyre and talk to her. Then, add 20 logs to the beacon and light it.
Needed items: 5 logs
6. Go back to Blaze Sharpeye and talk to him. Make sure you have 5 logs of the same kind. After you've talked to Blaze, click the beacon to add more logs to the fire. Then, talk to Blaze again, who tells you to report to the King.
7. Return to King Roald in Varrock Palace to claim your reward.
