1. Speak to one of the guards outside Legends' Guild northeast of Ardougne to start the quest.
2. Enter the guild through the gate to the north, and keep heading up the road until you see a house to your west, enter and speak to Sir Radimus Erkle and receive the Radimus Notes.
3. Get to Shilo Village by either:
- Taking a boat (30gp) to Brimhaven and pay Hajedy 10gp to use the cart service
- Teleporting using Karamja Gloves 3
- Using the spirit gorak teleport
- Using fairy rings to teleport to CKR
4. Bank and gear up.

5. If you brought coins instead of a machete, papyrus and charcoals, enter Obli's General Store in the southwestern part of the village and buy them.

6. Exit Shilo Village to the east, and enter the Khazari Jungle through one of the entrances shown the map above. The eastern corner of the only entrance to the Central zone takes least work.
7. As you enter, map the Central zone by using the right-click option on the Radimus Notes. Run around to the Eastern and Western zones shown on the map and repeat.
8. Exit the jungle and use the radimus notes with a Jungle Forester. Let him make a copy of the map. You will receive a Bull Roarer in exchange.
9. Enter the jungle again and use the Bull Roarer until Gujuo comes to you. Agree to save the Ungadulu from the cave.
10. Enter the first level of the legends dungeon via the mossy rocks marked on the map. You may have to try more than once.
11. Right-click the fire wall to talk to Ungadulu. Talk until he asks you to douse the flames, then exit the dungeon.
12. Summon Gujuo by swinging the bull roarer and ask him about the pure water. Then, ask him about the vessel you need. He gives you a sketch.
13. Teleport to Varrock if you brought the runes and bank at the west bank. If you haven't, exit the jungle and bank at Shilo village.

Make sure that your prayer is fully charged before continuing.
14. If you teleported to Varrock, smith a golden bowl at the anvil south of the bank. If you banked at Shilo, walk all the way to the north of Tai Bwo Wannai village and smith the bowl.
15. Walk or teleport back to Shilo Village, restock on supplies if needed and re-enter the jungle.
16. Use the Bull roarer to call Gujuo again and have your bowl enchanted. If you fail you can try again.
17. Go to the water pool (marked as Holy water on the map) and cut a reed nearby with your machete. Use the reed with the pool.
18. Search the bed for the Shaman's tome.
19. Search the bookcase north-east of the cavern to enter the next part of the dungeon. Picklock the ancient gates and smash the boulders that are in your way as you go along south. Force open the next ancient gate.
20. Run south past the Death wings, praying if needed. Follow the path past the Jagged wall obstacle until you hit a dead end.
21. On the marked wall, use the runes you brought, in the following order:
- Soul
- Mind
- Earth
- Law
- Law
(Those runes spell out "SMELL". In the German version, you need the runes that spell "LEBEN": Luft, Erd, Blut, Erd, Natur)
22. Use the gems you brought with the stalagmites in the ponds. There are 7 stalagmites in all, and you have to use each gem on the stalagmites as shown in the map below.
23. Grab the book of binding. DO NOT attempt to make holy waters unless you don't have a dragon or better weapon.
24. Restock at a bank if needed, and go back to Ungadulu. Use the golden bowl with the fire wall.
25. Use the Book of binding on Ungadulu and fight Nezikchened. It will drain your prayer, so drink prayer potions if you brought them and use protection from melee.
26. Talk to Ungadulu after the fight to receive Yommi seeds. You can then exit by touching the fire wall, as Ungadulu casts a spell that protects you from the flames.
27. If you still have water in your golden bowl, use it with the yommi tree seeds. Then, try to get more holy water from the pool from before, and you will notice that it has dried up.
28. Call Gujuo and tell him that the pool has dried up. Then, ask him about the source, and then ask him if he would help you, and he will you about a bravery potion.
29. Run back or teleport to Shilo village, bank and restock.

30. Use the Snake weed and Ardrigal on your Waterfilled vial to make a bravery potion.
31. Enter the jungle and the dungeon through the mossy rocks, then get to the room where you got the book of binding before.
32. Cast a charge orb spell on the Ancient gate with the runes and the orb you've brought. After you're in, drink your bravery potion and use the rope on the winch in the centre of the room. Climb down.
33. Once you're down, try to pick up the blue hat and talk to Viyeldi.
34. Follow the path to go down the hill, going through the agility obstacles. If you fail any of them you will fall, which is still ok.
35. Kill Sir Tojalon for a Hunk of crystal, marked on the map.
36. Kill Irvig Senay for a Chunk of crystal, also marked on the map.
37. Kill Ranalph Devere for a Lump of crystal, again marked on the map.
38. Use the crystal on the furnace in the northeastern part of the cavern.
39. Use the Heart crystal on the mossy rock in the centre of the cavern.
40. Head south to find a barrier and use the Heart crystal on it. Run west to aviod getting hit by the lesser demons.
41. Try to push the boulder and it will spawn a ghost. Talk to it until you receive a dagger.
42. Run up to Viyeldi (near the rope) and stab him.
43. Run back to the boulder and try to push it again and the ghost will spawn and turn into Nezikchened. Drink prayer potions to restore prayer - do this after he spawns, as he drains your prayer, - protect melee and kill it again.
44. After the fight, push the boulder away and fill your bowl with holy water, then use it with the Yommi seeds to germinate them.
45. Teleport or walk back to Shilo. Bank and restock.

- Do not bother with energy pots for this part, save space for prayer potions.
- Ardougne Teleport
46. Enter the jungle and call Gujuo again with the Bull roarer. Talk to him until he tells you to plant the Yommi seeds.
47. Go to one of the fertile soil spots marked on the jungle map (at the beginning of this guide) and plant the seed. Water it further after it grows. Chop it down and use your hatchet on the trunk a couple of times to carve it into a totem pole and pick it up.
48. Go to one of the totem poles marked on the map. Make sure you are ready, then turn melee prayer on and use your own totem pole with it. Kill the 3 undeads from before and then the demon for the last time.
49. Summon Gujuo and talk to him until he gives you a golden totem pole.
50. Teleport to or walk Ardougne, then run northeast to the Legends' Guild and talk to Sir Radimus Erkle to complete the quest.
