Devious Minds Quest Guide

Difficulty: Experienced

Start:

Talk to the Monk west of the Temple on the River Salve.

Needed skills:

• Level 65 Smithing
• Level 50 Runecrafting
• Level 50 Fletching.

Needed quests:

• Wanted!
• Troll Stronghold
• Doric's quest

Needed items:

• Mithril 2h sword
• Large pouch
• Bow string

Recommed items:

• Falador teleport runes (x2)
• Varrock teleport runes (x2)
• Amulet of Glory

Walkthrough

Part 1 - Strange weapon
Talk to the Monk, and he will tell you that you need to get a strange weapon. A sword-bow, made of Mithril 2-handed and Bow String.

Teleport to Falador (or walk) and head to Doric's house, north of Falador and south of Goblin Village. Use your Mithril 2h with the whetstone, and you will obtain a Slender Blade.

Use your bow string with the Slender Blade and you will obtain sword-bow.

Head back to the monk and give him the strange weapon. He will take it and he will ask for another favour.

Part 2 - The ceremony

The monk will tell you of a ceremony in Entrana. He will give you an orb and he will tell you that you need to put it in the Large Pouch and take it to the ceremony. He says that you can't use the boat to Entrana, but you have to use the abbysal way.

Use your Amulet of Glory to teleport to Edgeville (or walk) and bank your items. If you use a cape, weapon or armour, you cannot go in the law altar. Watch out for pkers, and go to the Law Altar. You must have the orb in the pouch. Run to Entrana church and use your Large Pouch with the altar. Watch the cut-scene.

The Monk will then request that you go back to the monk that gave you the quest and retrieve the Relic.

Part 3 - The mysteries

Head back to Varrock, and go to the temple near River Salve. You will see a dead monk, the monk that gave you the quest. Use your Amulet of Glory to teleport to Draynor (or walk).

Head back to the head priest and talk to him. You will tell him that the monk is dead and the head priest wants you to talk with Sir Tiffy, which is in Falador park.

Talk to Sir Tiffy, he will tell you the whole story with the orbs and the new strange weapon. He will also tell you that you may be able to use the strange weapon in the future.
